We are indebted to a correspondent who secured the required reading list for orders in the Anglican Province of America (APA). This is a Tractarian, Ritualizing, and Romewardizing (so-called) Anglican Province. Surely, they can do better than this. We are aware that 90-hour theological degrees are not required for ordination. Their presiding bishop, Mr. Wally Grunsdorf is a graduate of Bob Jones University without any discernible or known graduate training. We know he impugns the Reformation--we have that on good authority. If I have counted correctly, 52 volumes only, and mostly by AC-leaning authors? For example, Stephen Niell on Anglicanism is fairly weak. I could say more, but there is no exposure here to historic, biblical and confessional Anglicanism. More as this story develops.

You should post a counter list from a Reformed Anglican perspective.
Indeed I should. There would be about 1000 volumes beyond this list---for beginners. All of Calvin, Luther, and Parker Society series for starters. This list above by the APA is revisionist, narrow-minded, and, frankly, an pretty sophmoric. There are some must-haves and must-reads above, but much more needs to be included. This is not a responsible reading list for graduate-level students.
