Here's Brent:
"Thanks for your prayers. C.J. has now pulled away from Joshua, the pastors, and Covenant Life Church and doesn't want Ted Kober to help mediate. The CLC pastors were wise to refused a strict confidentiality agreement. That sent C.J. running. He doesn't want any of the correction he has received from them to get out. Instead, I think he is packing his bags and heading to Louisville to plant a church next to Southern Theological Seminary with Mohler's full support. I suspect Jeff Purswell will be offered a teaching position at the seminary also. Students will flock to hear C.J., sit at Jeff's feet and Al Mohler will be cheering them on."

No offense, Phil, but who really cares about SGM? Anglicans? Reformed people? Is it not well known already that these guys are lightweight neo-calvinists at best? I must be missing something, but what's the point of beating this dead horse?
Hudson:
1. Your point is noted and well-taken.
2. As for Confessional Churchmen, Mahaney-gate is a non-issue.
3. As for Prayer Book Churchmen and Church women, it is even more of a non-issue.
4. However, this scribe invested hours studying these Baptacostals. The value is this (no suprises): these whack-whits are worse than Confessionally Reformed and liturgical Churchmen know. They do very well to steer wide of them.
5. Having stated that, Mahaney is a T4Ger which is better than Rick Warren, who by one turn was featured with Bob Duncan at ACNA's hugfest. A fortiori, caveat emptor re: Bob from Pittsburg.
6. Having said the above, there is a warrant in inquiry of other perspectives. SGM never had an initial appeal. After a fuller review, they assuredly have less of an appeal.
