We are Confessional Calvinists and a Prayer Book Church-people. In 2012, we remembered the 350th anniversary of the 1662 Book of Common Prayer; also, we remembered the 450th anniversary of John Jewel's sober, scholarly, and Reformed "An Apology of the Church of England." In 2013, we remembered the publication of the "Heidelberg Catechism" and the influence of Reformed theologians in England, including Heinrich Bullinger's Decades. For 2014: Tyndale's NT translation. For 2015, John Roger, Rowland Taylor and Bishop John Hooper's martyrdom, burned at the stakes. Books of the month. Shouting at Court

A shouting match between Gosnell’s attorney and the prosecution broke out early Tuesday – setting the tone for the sixth day of proceedings. The defense questioned the validity of a toxicology report and the testimony of an expert witness, forcing the judge to hear questioning without the jury present.

Questions No One Is Asking

The former head of pro-choice group NARAL Kate Michelman outlines her thoughts as to why numerous complaints about Gosnell’s clinic, the Women’s Medical Society, were ignored. She also looks into why women chose to go to the clinic, that’s been described as macabre and horrific. Michelman claims Pa. has been denying safe access to medical care to women who need it most.

Media Skipping the Trial

In a commentary on Gosnell’s case, GOPUSA’s Brent Bozell blasts traditional, public and cable news outlets for a lack of media coverage on the case. He believes outlets are avoiding the story – saying “Can't they find a single abortion outrage inside an abortion clinic?” Bozell goes on to say outlets haven’t been “objective” when covering abortion stories.
