Efforts to understand Solomon's Temple, e.g. 2 Chronicles 1-8. This only goes to magnify the assertion by Jesus that "One greater than the Temple is here..." This issue goes to the heart of larger issues: orthodox and Biblical Christology, Nicene and Creedal Churchmanship, and theological liberalism such as the inchoate and unbelieving leaders in the Episcopal Church. It may also go to some perceived inchorence in anti-propositionalism and mysticism afoot in some growing movements. (The pictures are fuzzy, but still suggestive.)
