The music? Prayer Book Churchmanship? Scholarly addresses? What differs here, aside from a few purple shirts and collars, from a "generic, broad, non-confessional, non-liturgical and non-doctrinal" evangelicalism? Mitred bishops on the left with guitar-drum kits on the right? Why not go totally faddish, like Rick Warren or the other non-confessional evangelicals, and doff the collars and pointy hats?
Admittedly, the children and grandchildren would do better here--ACNA--than elsewhere or anywhere, other than a few URCNA or OPC churches (but they have no liturgy, but does the ACNA?). ACNA is a marginal improvement over the TEC.

ACNA has prostituted itself to Christless evangelism, growth and demographic targeting. I would NEVER suggest to a fellow Christian that he seek out an ACNA congregation. It is more likely that Prayerbook Churchmanship will be planted in Reformed churches than the Reformation will be planted in Anglican churches.
I fear, but think this strategy is so. ACNA has little, if any, concept of Reformed and Anglican Churchmanship. Bob in Pittsburgh doesn't. Leo, REC, of Philadelphia does have an idea about it, but he, like a Shakespearean tragic hero has character flaws that have cast him to the deck...down, out, destroyed. Tragic, but true. Leo had the background, brains, skills, insights, and involvements, but he sold out. He'd done, down and destroyed.
But, alas, roses bloom with hope in the desert...despite all other appearances.
