Reformed Churchmen

We are Confessional Calvinists and a Prayer Book Church-people. In 2012, we remembered the 350th anniversary of the 1662 Book of Common Prayer; also, we remembered the 450th anniversary of John Jewel's sober, scholarly, and Reformed "An Apology of the Church of England." In 2013, we remembered the publication of the "Heidelberg Catechism" and the influence of Reformed theologians in England, including Heinrich Bullinger's Decades. For 2014: Tyndale's NT translation. For 2015, John Roger, Rowland Taylor and Bishop John Hooper's martyrdom, burned at the stakes. Books of the month. The Heidelblog returns to the Blogosphere

He’s Back

Today, I woke up to the wonderful news that the Heidelblog has returned.

Though it wasn’t a complete surprise, on my recent trip to San Diego, I had lunch with Dr. Clark, he mentioned that there was a strong possibility that the Heidelblog would return.

There has been a huge void online since The Heidelblog went dark on April 28th 2011. It was a wonderful resource for me when I was trying to find out what it meant to be Confessional and Reformed.

Welcome Back Dr. Clark, your voice has been missed.

Also Dr. Clark has launched rscottclark.org , a site that he moved a lot of material from http://clark.wscal.edu to a new website: http://rscottclark.org
