The goal is to build a substantive library, including masters theses and doctoral dissertations, on the judicious , scholarly, cautious, and influential Churchman of the Reformed Church of England. He perished at age 67 due to a murder in the first degree--with malice aforethought, ill will, spite, planning, deliberation and the very specific formation of intent to kill. A 20-somethingish prosecutor fresh out of law school could convict Queen Mary the First of this wicked deed. "Book 'er, Danno!" More later.

Thomas Cranmer, mild mannered archbishop to bombastic Henry
VIII, engineered the English Reformation, leaving us the legacy of the Church
of England. In order to understand the reformation in England, one must know
something of Thomas Cranmer. Too often he appears as a shadow against Henry's
sun. Well worth reading.
