Reformed Churchmen

We are Confessional Calvinists and a Prayer Book Church-people. In 2012, we remembered the 350th anniversary of the 1662 Book of Common Prayer; also, we remembered the 450th anniversary of John Jewel's sober, scholarly, and Reformed "An Apology of the Church of England." In 2013, we remembered the publication of the "Heidelberg Catechism" and the influence of Reformed theologians in England, including Heinrich Bullinger's Decades. For 2014: Tyndale's NT translation. For 2015, John Roger, Rowland Taylor and Bishop John Hooper's martyrdom, burned at the stakes. Books of the month. December 2014: Alan Jacob's "Book of Common Prayer" at: January 2015: A.F. Pollard's "Thomas Cranmer and the English Reformation: 1489-1556" at: February 2015: Jaspar Ridley's "Thomas Cranmer" at:

(Wannabe Anglican) #Gosnell on Twitter Peaking/Murder Trial of Philadelphia Abortionist

Abortion--20 Weeks
A story from Wannabe Anglican below.  #Gosnell is trending on Twitter...about the major media black-out over the abortion doctor, Kermit Gosnell.  A Tweet-fest begins at noon (EST) on Friday and will go until midnight...demanding Media response.  As background, we recommend reading the horrific Phila DA's report on Gosnell's holocaust house at:

Here's Wannabe Anglican's story at:

The Gosnell “News” Media Blackout and Backlash

If a man, under the pretense of being a doctor, literally butchered babies and hired at least one high school girl to assist him in doing so, that would be all over the “news” media, right? Right?

The noos media blackout of the Kermit Gosnell trial and of the horrific revelations coming out from it has become outrageous – and absurd. One Washington Post “reporter” pro-abortion tool, Sarah Kliff, excuses the blackout by saying the Gosnell trial is merely a “local crime” story. Yes, snarkworthy at least.

Meanwhile, seats at the trial reserved for the “news” media are going empty. You see, anything that doesn’t fit into their viewpoint that abortion-on-demand is good just must not be news.
After weeks of this, enough good people are fed up and outraged at the butchery and the noos media blackout of it that #Gosnell has been trending first on twitter for well over 12 hours now and counting.

This is becoming an episode that is decimating what remains of “news” media credibility. And, yes, the citizens’ alternative news media of bloggers and tweeters is winning again.
