Reformed Churchmen

We are Confessional Calvinists and a Prayer Book Church-people. In 2012, we remembered the 350th anniversary of the 1662 Book of Common Prayer; also, we remembered the 450th anniversary of John Jewel's sober, scholarly, and Reformed "An Apology of the Church of England." In 2013, we remembered the publication of the "Heidelberg Catechism" and the influence of Reformed theologians in England, including Heinrich Bullinger's Decades. For 2014: Tyndale's NT translation. For 2015, John Roger, Rowland Taylor and Bishop John Hooper's martyrdom, burned at the stakes. Books of the month. SGM-Mahaneygate: Mahaney BAILS FROM SGM: "Soft Landing/Parachute" From SGM-Leadership

After almost 2 years of adverse press (from Brent Detwiler and blogs...SGM Survivors, Refure and the submariners at Wartburg) and a meritorious and justifiable "beat-down" with facts, insights, and comments from close observers of "CEEJ," the hand-waving Baptacostaholic with a high school degree, C.J. Mahaney, "the old boy," whom we call "Old Baldy," is offering this "soft landing" or "parachute landing."  After all the adverse press, old CEEJ is a defendant in a class action lawsuit about child sexual abuse.  This is CEEJ's "soft landing," that is, for old helo-pilots, putting it into the sea so survivors can get out.  CEEJ is gone shortly.
