Reformed Churchmen

We are Confessional Calvinists and a Prayer Book Church-people. In 2012, we remembered the 350th anniversary of the 1662 Book of Common Prayer; also, we remembered the 450th anniversary of John Jewel's sober, scholarly, and Reformed "An Apology of the Church of England." In 2013, we remembered the publication of the "Heidelberg Catechism" and the influence of Reformed theologians in England, including Heinrich Bullinger's Decades. For 2014: Tyndale's NT translation. For 2015, John Roger, Rowland Taylor and Bishop John Hooper's martyrdom, burned at the stakes. Books of the month. SGM-Mahaneygate: An Odd Post by Joshua Harris

An odd post from Mr. Joshua Harris today.  A signal?  There are preliminary indications that CLC and CJ are at odds, more than is known.

Number one, this is fantastic.

Number two, Josh, I'm sure you're getting a ton of comments, emails, etc, and you don't know me, but I wanted to just be one more person saying this.

I am praying for you, and you have an incredibly hard job right now. I don't envy your having to sort through all the trillion of opinions, angles, sides to everything, all the feelings and histories and investments that go with everything Sovereign Grace, C.J., and CLC are dealing with right now.
May you find comfort and encouragement with your family and close friends, and strength in God's unconditional love for you.

Also as cheesy as it is, the Keith Green lyrics kinda stand...

"Do your best, pray it will be blessed, let God take care of the rest..."

Joy and peace to you this week and this season.
Emily, the Keith Green lyric is exactly what I needed to hear today! Thanks for your kind note.
