Reformed Churchmen

We are Confessional Calvinists and a Prayer Book Church-people. In 2012, we remembered the 350th anniversary of the 1662 Book of Common Prayer; also, we remembered the 450th anniversary of John Jewel's sober, scholarly, and Reformed "An Apology of the Church of England." In 2013, we remembered the publication of the "Heidelberg Catechism" and the influence of Reformed theologians in England, including Heinrich Bullinger's Decades. For 2014: Tyndale's NT translation. For 2015, John Roger, Rowland Taylor and Bishop John Hooper's martyrdom, burned at the stakes. Books of the month. Youtube Roundup on TBN Lawsuit

Youtube Roundup on TBN Lawsuits
1.  Paul Crouch, Jr., talks about the inexcusable $$-lusts, TBN, the anticipated attacks and the personal hurt watching his father, Paul Crouch, Sr., face criticisms over money-mania.  NY Times carried a recent story entitled “TBN Family Feud Heats Up as Network Fires Back Against Fraud.”  The lawsuit and family feud reveal long known, lavish, and excessive luxuries at the largest Christian TV station.  In short, TBN is full of belly-lovers and money-lovers. Reformation Anglicanism covered the NY Times article at: http://reformationanglicanism.blogspot.com/2012/05/tbn-loons-ny-times-covers-tbn-v-kober.html  Here is Paul’s ineffectual apologetic. http://youtu.be/OXN52RgK8AQ
2. Jack Van Impe, a dispensational fundamentalist, Anabaptist, and former preacher on TBN, retells his fallout with TBN.  Apparently, TBN censored Van Impe;  Matt Crouch, the son of Crouch Sr., was the source of censorship.  Unlike St. Paul or St. John, one cannot call out false teachers. Crouch did not like Van Impe mentioning Rick Warren as problematic theologically.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sl3fZFwSios&feature=related
3.  This quote comes from the author of this youtube source:  "TBN is an EXPLOSION of SEX, FRAUD and CRIME!" screams a man as Jan Crouch is walking her `million dollar’ pink dogs (reported March 1 2012). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8RgpTjAALao

4. The Orange County Register reports at: http://taxdollars.ocregister.com/2012/02/17/crouch-granddaughter-not-backing-... The youtube author says:  “Will the TBN facade crumble? Paul Crouch's Grandaughter, Brittany Koper, MBA, initially a CFO for TBN, exposed her family and the network executives.”  Another youtube at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t06sESOFJV8&feature=fvwrel
5.  Another youtube author says:  “For nearly 40 years, the Trinity Broadcasting Network has urged viewers to give generously and reap the Lord's bounty in return. The prosperity gospel preached by Paul and Janice Crouch, shown in 1988, who built a single station into the world's largest Christian television operation, has worked out well for them.”  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TKlgTxN53x4
6. This quote comes from the TBN youtube author, saying, “TBN is being Sued by their Grand-daughter, Brittany Koper, daughter of Paul Crouch Jr. for mis-using the finances. What about their $50 Million Dollar Jet? And multiple Mansions, all thanks to your tithes and offerings [sic].”  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZHr6T7ZyNOg
