The Queen attends St Paul's Cathedral's 300th birthday celebration

The Queen has attended a service to celebrate 300 years of St Paul's Cathedral, which for many of the children sat under its vast dome was the first time they had seen the building free of scaffolding.
Over the last 15 years, at a cost of £40m, every inch of stone, mosaic, wood and metal has been cleaned, inside and out, so that Sir Christopher Wren's masterpiece gleams again
