BISHOP or ARCHPRESBYTER WILLIAM WHITE, D.D, Bishop of Pennsylvania Presiding Bishop of the Protestant Episcopal Church in the USA,was consecrated by the Archbishop of Canterbury (John Moore), the Archbishop of York (William Markham) and the Bishops of Peterborough (John Hinchcliffe) and Bath and Wells (Charles Moss) 4 February, 1787 in Lambeth Palace Chapel, London. Died 1836.
