MIKE BARNICLE: Chuck, do you think the situation where crisis meets opportunity, crisis keeps going up, opportunity diminishes. Is it that the White House might be just so tired, so weary of all of this, that they are in effect just mailing it it on some of these kinds of things? That's the way it appears.
MIKA BZREZINSKI: No!
CHUCK TODD: No, look. They're not mailing it in, but what it appears, is this is an administration where events are controlling them. I can't remember the last time, I feel like that they controlled a set of events. It feels like the answer is the same, whether it is VA, whether it is the healthcare debacle, the ISIS in Iraq: this came up on us faster than expected. We had our eye on this, but we didn't expect it to be this bad, this quick, this substantial. I think the last six months have painted a picture of an administration that looks like they're struggling to run the government, that they're struggling going from crisis to crisis.
