21 March 1556 A.D. Archbishop Thomas Cranmer burned at the stake.

We have a larger bibliography of about 30 pages that is under construction and with a widening review. One result of the construction of the bibliography and much reading: we don't listen too long to moderns or to those without the work. Thus far, it's probably Mr. (Dr. Prof.) Diarmaid MacCulloch as the most significant voice on Cranmer. He spent 10 years researching the volume.
