The Interview: Glenn Davies, Anglican Archbishop of Sydney
Sunday, September 29, 2013
The place of Christianity in Australia is probably as precarious as it's ever been.
Into this environment comes the new Anglican Archbishop of Sydney, Glenn Davies. He takes over from his outspoken predecessor, Peter Jensen, whose tenure lasted 12 years.
In this discursive interview, Archbishop Davies lays out his plan for the diocese, comments on the controversial issue of lay presidency in the Anglican Church, and reveals his position on women in the church.
