"The Book of Common Prayer" as Amended by Westminster Divines, 1661 A.D.

A must-read that forever disproves the false notion that Westminster Divines were not Prayer Book Churchmen.  For those schooled in the old Anglican Prayer Book, he or she will be at home at once.  What is so wonderful is the insertion of the "Westminster Shorter Catechism" in the catechetical section.  Old school Presbyterians will recognize it at once while the Anglicans will be clueless here;  conversely, Scots-American Presbyterians will not know the BCP liturgy while the Anglicans will be right at home.  One side tossed the Westminster standards in the disaster of 1662 and the other side tossed the Prayer Book...proof of manifold foolishnesses in English, Scottish and American history.
