Kevin Vanhoozer on What the Word Does

Here is chapel message at Wheaton College by Kevin Vanhoozer (October 27, 2010), who reminds us that sola scripture is not the same as solo scriptura, that it is not enough to profess sola scriptura but that we also have to do it, and that sola scriptura serves sola Christus (that is, God’s written word serves his living word). Vanhoozer encourage us to remember that the word lights our way, orients us to the truth, and indwells us with the life of Jesus Christ.
