Bach’s St. John Passion
For Palm Sunday, the Cathedral Choir presents Bach’s vivid
St. John Passion under the direction of Canon Michael McCarthy. Set to
some of the master’s most accomplished music, its narrative tells the story of
Jesus Christ’s final suffering, death, burial, and resurrection.
The Washington National Cathedral Combined Choirs and Baroque
Orchestra perform under conductor Michael McCarthy.
The concert runs just shy of 2 hours.
