Mere Anglicanism 2012: The Rt. Rev'd Richard Chartes.

In light of CANTAUR's impending departure by the end of 2012, Bishop Chartres of London has been suggested by a few observers. Our understanding is that Bishop Chartres is Anglo-Catholic (?? and, whatever Anglo-Catholic means?) and has never and will never ordain a woman. We suspect this might tend to exclude him from consideration, but what do we know?
This is a wonderful lecture--insights into Anglicanism, Anglican identity, with connections to American history. Quiet, deliberative, and scholarly. Worth hearing.
