Worship Correction from the Lutherans

"I, a poor miserable sinner confess unto Thee all my sins and iniquities with which have ever offended Thee and justly deserved Thy temporal and eternal punishment. But I am heartily sorry for them and sincerely repent of them, and I pray Thee of Thy boundless mercy and for the sake of the holy, innocent, bitter sufferings and death of Thy beloved Son, Jesus Christ, to be gracious and merciful to me, a poor, sinful being." The Lutheran Hymnal (1941). The Lutheran Service Book (2006) has the same thing but with the thees and thous taken out.

Hat tip to Ken, a Confessional Lutheran friend, Pastor and former attorney.  This is actually better than our beloved BCP.  The above confession or the one from our BCP should not be amended for the worship-moderns hating Prayer Book churchmanship, discipline and order.
