We continue to monitor Alzheimer-Amnesiacal-Adjustable Anglicanism (A raised to the 3rd power) re: Reformation Day. The Oxford Puritans (Anglo-Romewardizers) abhor the Reformation. The modern centres for adverts are silent. We post one tribute today (we turned down the opportunity to write for one outlet, preferring to monitor A-3 Anglicanism). Lutherans and Presbyterians (the sideline ones) are remembering the day. A quote from Clement on justification by faith alone by grace alone by Christ alone. (Clench your teeth, ye Oxford Puritans, liberals, and modern Muddling, Mangled, Manglican Anglicans--laughable sorts. We might have said M-3 Anglicans.)
"All these, therefore, were highly honoured, and made great, not for their own sake, or for their own works, or for the righteousness which they wrought, but through the operation of His will. And we, too, being called by His will in Christ Jesus, are not justified by ourselves, nor by our own wisdom, or understanding, or godliness, or works which we have wrought in holiness of heart; but by that faith through which, from the beginning, Almighty God has justified all men; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen."
