HOLY Father, in whom alone our security as a nation rests; we give thee thanks for the many who took up arms in our def...ense, that the blessings of liberty with which thou hast blessed us might be preserved; We beseech thee to grant that those liberties be protected, especially for the good of thy Holy Church, always and ever, through the merit and intercession of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
