Reasonable Christian: James I. Packer: The Thirty-Nine Articles: Their Place and Use Today
Posted using ShareThis
We believe James Innes Packer is a "man for all seasons." To the British evangelicals, he fobs himself off as one of them (although many sniffed out his waffling). To the Reformed, he appears to be Reformed (although they sniffed him out fast over ECT). To Anglo-Romewardizers, he's a co-liturgist. To Romanists, he's a co-belligerent and "brother in Christ." We take his writings with a grain of salt when compared to his leadership and churchmanship.
