A Classical Presbyterian: Reformed Christians and the Demise of the PC(USA)

A Classical Presbyterian: Reformed Christians and the Demise of the PC(USA)

Here is a Confessional Presbyterian from the mainline, fighting a valiant rear guard action. The more he instructs from the classical sources, the more the "holy dissatisfaction" arises at the congregational level.

This is why--after substantial reading--one can handily dismiss many U.S. Anglican leaders. Get back to the sources and you'll see what is meant.

Of such mainline leaders, Jeremiah has it right (6.10):

To whom shall I speak and give warning, that they may hear? Indeed their ear is uncircumcized and they cannot give heed. Behold, the word of the LORD is a reproach to them; they have no delight in it.

We have a calling to brush the dust off our shoes and let them perish, as that is their desire. They choose freely according to their dead natures.

It is good to see one Churchmen in the PCUSA holding forth and believers, elect, embracing the Confessing Faith.
