onetimothyfour: Farewell to Walsingham and return home

These prayers from the above URL, a "Catholic" parish.
Our Lady of Walsingham, pray for us.
St Joseph, pray for us.
St Thérèse of Lisieux, pray for us.
St Leonard of Noblac, pray for us.
St Francis of Assisi, pray for us.
As this scribe ponders the ACNA, its advocacy and tolerance of this along numerous levels, we cannot go near the sewers.
The slander of the ACNA by supposed Anglicans is becoming risible. This story is about an Anglo-Catholic parish in London.
ReplyDeleteWhat does it have to do with the ACNA?
I wouldn't call it slander, but something representative of that tradition, including ACNA leaders...in part.
ReplyDeleteThis is what Iker, Ackerman, Schofield, Hewitt and other SSC-men have advocated for years. Robin Jordan just posted elsewhere a URL with Mr. Iker presiding at the Walsingham celebration.
That which is above is representative.
Tell me what "you" believe. I've asked previously, so let's nail some of those things down.
Then, tell me what--and I've asked this before--what is the doctrinal core of the ACNA?
VOL posts an article about "three streams." Now there one out tonight about "four streams."
Defend the ACNA. Let's hear it.
And Dom, will you comment on reports of semi-Pelagianism and charismatic theology?
ReplyDeleteAnd tell us what are the Reformed elements in the ACNA?
I asked this at Robin's blog, but your offer no answers?
Tell us which of the 54 volumes of the Parker Society you've read and digested? And how those authors would fit with the moderns?
You love the ACNA. Take up it's defense. We're all ears.
I'm calling your bluff. Go for it and let's do it. You're on.
Am ready. You're bluff is about to be called. Let's tango. Bring it on!!!
ReplyDeleteDay two has arrived.
ReplyDeleteDom, your bluff is being called.
What does the ACNA believe? Defend it.
Veitch
Day three has arrived, Dom.
ReplyDeleteWhat does the ACNA believe? And you call it a safe harbour?
The bluffery stops. Willing to bite?
We're waiting.
Day seven has come and gone with no answers. Thanks. We're left wondering what the doctrinal ACNA core is.
